How to Fix Common PC Issues & Connectivity Problems

Slow Performance
A sluggish PC can be frustrating, but before upgrading your hardware, try these solutions:
- Close Unnecessary Programs: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager and end high-usage apps.
- Free Up Space: Use Disk Cleanup (Win + R → type cleanmgr) to delete temporary files.
- Update Software & Drivers: Go to Settings → Update & Security to check for updates.
- Scan for Malware: Run Windows Defender or an antivirus program to detect threats.
- If the issue persists, consider upgrading your RAM or switching to an SSD for better speed.

No Internet Connection
Nothing is worse than losing internet when you need it most. Try these quick fixes:
- Restart your router and modem – unplug them, wait 30 seconds, and plug them back in.
- Check Network Settings: Go to Settings → Network & Internet and ensure Wi-Fi or Ethernet is enabled.
- Flush DNS Cache: Open Command Prompt (
Win + R
→ typecmd
) and enter:bashipconfig /flushdns
- Test Another Device: If other devices also have no internet, contact your internet provider.

Wi-Fi Keeps Dropping
